About Praajna Consulting
Praajna Consulting is the consultation practice of Abhigya Anand. It exists so that people can put a specific question to a classically trained astrologer and get a specific answer, at a fixed fee, on a fixed date.
What we do
Consultations are readings of a birth horoscope in the classical Jyotiṣa tradition: the placement of the grahas at birth, the divisional charts, and the daśā periods that set the timing of what follows. The work is applied rather than descriptive. Most people come with a decision in front of them, and leave with a view on when to act and what to avoid.
Sittings cover career and business, partnership and marriage, health, family matters, and long range planning. The Institute's default ayanāṃśa is True Chitra, with Lahiri used where a client's own records call for it. The udaya-tithi convention is standard.
Who conducts the consultation
Every sitting is conducted by Abhigya Anand personally. No part of a consultation is delegated. He has been publishing dated, publicly checkable forecasts since 2019, and the record of those forecasts is kept open at abhigyaanand.com.
The Institute
Teaching and research sit separately, under the Praajna Jyotisha Institute at praajnajyotisha.org. If you are looking to study Jyotiṣa rather than to consult, that is where to go.
How a sitting runs
- The session is one to one with Abhigya Anand over Zoom or Google Meet, conducted in English.
- You may record the session yourself, or receive a recording and written notes afterwards through a secure link.
- Your information is not shared with any third party and is never used for case studies, podcasts or teaching material.
What we do not do
We do not sell remedies, stones, yantras or rituals, and no consultation ends in an upsell. We do not give medical, legal or investment instructions. Where a question touches health or money, the reading covers timing and disposition, and you should take the decision itself with a qualified professional.
The two divisions
Praajna Consulting handles sittings on a person, a marriage or a family. Praajna Strategy handles company work: an initial business consultation, and a standing retainer for firms that need timing advice through the year rather than once.
