1. Agreement

These terms govern the booking and conduct of a consultation with Praajna Consulting. By paying for an appointment you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not book.

2. What is being sold

A consultation is a fixed-length online conversation with Abhigya Anand about one or more birth horoscopes, together with a recording of that conversation and written notes. The length and fee of each consultation are stated in the booking list, and are shown again before payment.

Astrology is an interpretive discipline. What you receive is a considered reading and a view on timing. It is not a guarantee of any outcome, and no consultation should be treated as medical, legal, financial or investment advice. Decisions in those areas should be taken with a qualified professional.

3. Booking and payment

• Appointments are booked online and paid for in full at the time of booking.
• The time you select is held while you complete the form. If the hold expires the time returns to the calendar.
• An appointment is confirmed only when payment has been received and you have a booking reference beginning with PC.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay for clients paying within India, and by PayPal for clients paying from anywhere else. We do not receive or store your card details in either case.
• Fees for clients in India are inclusive of 18% GST included. Fees for clients outside India are charged in United States dollars; your bank may apply its own conversion and charges.

4. Your obligations

• Give accurate birth details: full name, date of birth, time of birth with AM or PM, and place of birth, for every person to be read. An inaccurate birth time changes the reading.
• Follow the preparation set out on the service delivery page, including remaining vegetarian and free of alcohol and intoxicants for seven days before the appointment.
• Attend at the time booked, from a quiet private place, on a device with a working camera and microphone.

We do not ask for your questions in advance. An impromptu session reads better, and holding fewer details is better for your privacy. You may record the session yourself, or receive a recording afterwards through a secure link.

5. Time and attendance

Sessions begin and end at the booked time. If you arrive late the session still ends as scheduled. If you do not attend at all, the fee is not returned. See the cancellation and refunds policy.

6. Changes from our side

Timings may be rescheduled by us in unavoidable circumstances. We will tell you as early as we can and offer an alternative time. If we cannot offer a time that suits you, the fee is returned in full.

7. Conduct

We may decline or end a consultation, and decline future bookings, where a person is abusive, is under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants, or asks for readings intended to cause harm to another person. Where we decline a booking before it takes place, the fee is returned in full.

8. Confidentiality and intellectual property

What is discussed in a consultation is confidential on both sides. The recording and notes are provided for your personal use. They are not to be published, broadcast, sold or used in advertising without written permission. Equally, your session is never used by us for case studies, podcasts or teaching material.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any consultation is limited to the fee paid for that consultation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or loss of opportunity, arising from decisions taken after a consultation.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the version published on the date you paid. The review date is shown at the foot of this page.

The position in one line

Consultation fees are not refundable once an appointment is confirmed, except where we cancel or decline it. Rescheduling is possible and is usually the better route.

Why

The chart is cast and studied before you arrive, and the slot is taken out of the calendar as soon as you book it. Both are spent whether or not you attend.

Rescheduling

• Write to info@abhigyaanand.com quoting your booking reference.
• Requests made at least 48 hours before the appointment are moved to a mutually available time at no charge. One reschedule is offered per booking.
• Requests made inside 48 hours are accommodated where the calendar allows, at our discretion.
• If no mutually available time can be found within ninety days, the fee is returned in full.

When a refund is made

• We cancel or decline the appointment. Full refund.
• We reschedule and no alternative suits you. Full refund.
• You were charged twice for one appointment. The duplicate is returned in full.
• Payment succeeded but no appointment was created. Full refund, or the appointment created at a time of your choosing, whichever you prefer.

When a refund is not made

• You do not attend at the booked time.
• You cancel of your own accord after the appointment is confirmed.
• You attended but disagree with what was said. Astrology is interpretive, and a reading you did not want to hear is still a reading that was given.
• Your connection, device or surroundings prevented the session going ahead, where ours did not.

How a refund is paid

Approved refunds are returned through the gateway that took the payment, Razorpay within India or PayPal from elsewhere, to the same card, account or instrument used for the payment. We initiate the refund within three working days of approving it. The money typically reaches you within five to seven working days after that, depending on your bank. International card refunds can take up to fourteen working days.

Refunds are made in the currency of the original payment. Where a currency conversion loss arises between the two dates, that difference is your bank's and is not made good by us.

How to ask

Write to info@abhigyaanand.com with your booking reference and what happened. We reply within two working days. If the answer does not resolve the matter, escalate to pranav@abhigyaanand.com.

Nothing is shipped

Praajna Consulting sells a service delivered online. There is no physical product, no dispatch and no courier. Nothing is posted to you and no shipping charge is ever applied.

What you receive, and when

Booking confirmation and calendar invitation	By email, immediately on payment
Zoom meeting link	In the same confirmation, and again in the calendar invitation
The consultation itself	At the date and time you booked, for the full booked duration
Recording and written notes	By email, within five working days of the session

Where it happens

Sessions are held over Zoom, or over Google Meet where that suits you better. The link is unique to your appointment. You need a device with a working camera and microphone, and a stable connection. Sessions are conducted in English.

Booking window

Appointments open 48 hours ahead and up to 90 days out. The 48-hour gap exists so that the chart can be studied and so that you have time to prepare. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 18:30, Saturday 10:00 to 13:00, India Standard Time.

Before the sitting

• Avoid meat, eggs, alcohol and any intoxicant for at least seven days before your selected day of consultation.
• Keep to light, sattvic food for the last 24 to 48 hours.
• Have exact birth details ready for everyone being read: name, date, time with AM or PM, and place.
• Hold your questions in your own mind rather than sending them ahead. We do not ask for them in advance, and an impromptu session reads better.
• Sit in a quiet, private room with a stable connection, on a device with a working camera and microphone.

If something does not arrive

Check your spam folder first; confirmations carry an attachment and are sometimes filtered. If it is still missing, write to info@abhigyaanand.com with your booking reference and we will resend it.

Terms of this appointment

• The fee is non-refundable, unless we decline your appointment.
• Timings may be rescheduled from our side in unavoidable circumstances. We will tell you as early as we can.
• To reschedule, write to info@abhigyaanand.com. Rescheduling is subject to mutual availability.
• Email is the single point of contact. Check your inbox and spam folder after booking.
• All times are shown in your own time zone as well as India Standard Time.
